Project Title
Describe in a few concise sentences the overall idea and elements that create it.
Is the proposed project accessible to differently abled participants?
Describe the physical elements that create the idea, this can include sound and light. Include space requirements (Height x Width x Depth), Weight, and basic structures required. Also include placement of elements and how they interact.
Describe the desired site for the project and how it will impact Singe City and its landscape. You may provide a map if this helps in the description of the space. Note if the work requires the use of existing nature or structures. Understand that any placement requests are not guaranteed and final placement will be the responsibility of City Planning.
Provide a detailed list of all physical materials, with line item costs associated with each component, and a total at the bottom. Don't forget tax/shipping.
Total amount needed for proposed project, including materials and any other costs.
What is the minimum amount that you would need to bring something? Present a proposal with budget reduction. Provide an alternate option, if possible, that will allow the expression of your vision and concept with a reduced scale. This will afford the jury an opportunity to consider funding a lower cost piece as opposed to altogether passing on it.
Note any need for power and how the power is to be supplied (generator, solar, wind, water, other), and how sound may be managed if a generator is used. It is the responsibility of the artist to arrange power sources. The Art and City Planning Teams will not arrange this for you.
Design/Fabrication/Installation/Removal Phases - Provide a detailed schedule in days or weeks for each noted phase and its elements, with the assumed conclusion being the event the second week in May.
Describe means of delivery and return. This is the sole responsibility of the artist.
Design/Fabrication/Installation/Removal Phases - Detail how each phase may or may not include or require the Reclaimation community. How does the idea engages the community once it is completed - do you play with it? Do you interact with it? What does it do?
If your project includes fire, give a detailed description of how safety will be addressed by location of the flame, physical guards, or other means.
List any non-flame related safety issues and how they will be addressed.
What is your Leave No Trace plan? Every part of the project must be fully removed from the land. Please also note here if your project will require digging any holes or other alterations to the landscape.
Design/Fabrication/Installation/Removal Phases - If you require help, list the number of people required to execute phases and their roles. Consider that there are limitations on early arrival based on the scale of the project.
Renderings/drawings/CAD/material examples/other imagery optional, but suggested to promote the best understanding of your concept. Copy URLs below or email images to info@reclaimation.net and include the of your project. For images, it's best to send .JPG, .PNG, screenshots, or similar format that is easily inserted into a word document. Do not include any identifying info in pictures or videos (pictures of you) as they will be inadmissible.
Will the project be able to be stored and return in future years, will it be installed anywhere in the "default world"?
Is there any other information you would like to share for the jury to consider in the process?
